ELM round bottomed bowl

Turned from beautiful Scottish Whych Elm from the north of Scotland. The bowl has been decorated with turned beading and partially ebonised. Carved Neolithic symbols have been added and a couple of bronze staples. Round bottomed bowl that sits on a sisal ring made from an old creel eye from a lobster pot . This is a very striking piece.  Finished with several coats of oil and buffed.
