Neolithic inspired 'Petrosphere' turned from Lignum Vitae sourced from an old bowling bowl. We find these old bowls for sale on market places and antique shops and are really please to be able to buy them and up-cycle them into these beautiful tactile objects. This one has been turned with 4 facets and has silver inlays between. Displayed on a Scottish oak base which has been limed. The light coloured base highlights the dark wood of the 'petrosphere' Sealed, waxed and then buffed. Ball Approx. 65mm∅
