ORKNEY SYCAMORE bowl. Inspired by the Neolithic Unstan ware pottery decoration this bowl has hand applied pyrography and a bog oak stud. The bowl has been coloured using a pigment in the oil. The outside colour mimics hematite and the inside limonite. The bowl sits on a black cotton ring. Finished with several coats of oil and buffed. 130mm x 200mm∅
