This Neolithic inspired bowl is turned from local Orkney sycamore with a carinated rim. The pyrography decoration is inspired by the Neolithic Unstan ware pottery found here in Orkney. This little round bottomed bowl sits on an ebonised base with carved detail. The patterns are inspired by the Neolithic ones found including the Brodgar butterfly. Finished with several coats of oil and buffed. 120mm x 190mm∅
