Cocobolo. A little bowl turned from a beautiful timber. Turned beading decoration. This is one of the part turned blanks from the late Bert Marsh, a wonderful turner. We managed to purchase a few recently. They have dates and other references on them, but not all have the timber species noted. He was well known for working with exotic hardwoods as well as native timbers. Finished with several coats of oil and buffed. approx size 45mm x 125mm∅
