ELM hollow form with pyrography on an ebonised base. This hollow form is turned from Scottish elm. The beautiful bulbus shape of the piece is also followed on the inside as it has been hollowed out through the opening at the top. Pyrography has been added around the rim and a decoration of pyrography stitches follows a natural flaw. The piece sits on an ebonised base which has been carved with Neolithic inspired patterns. A lovely piece which will sit well in any home and be a talking point for many years. Finished with several coats of oil and buffed. 175mm x 160mm∅
