SCOTTISH ELM bowl with some burr. A stunning bowl with lots of natural detail which includes the beautiful grain in the wood and some spalting. Some friction turned lines have been added while on the lathe. While the bowl is turning on the lathe Michael holds a guitar string or a piece of worktop edging formica to the bowl. Depending on what Michael uses depends on the thickness of the line. Finished with several coats of oil and buffed. Approx size 130mm x 200mm∅
