A new range where Michael has stepped away from bowl turning to turn these Burr elm fishing floats. Inspired by Michael’s time as a commercial fisherman and also the time he spent as a boy beach combing on his home island of Sanday, finding these various floats. Natural hemp rope, spliced by Michael, enhances the look. The floats may be hung from the ropes, for display, if desired. Serial numbers and id stamps are on each piece to further enhance the look. Michael hopes to continue with this range, possibly utilizing oak, keep an eye on the website.
