Well that’s nearly the end of 2021 and another upset to Christmas with the old COVID 19 thing. It was all starting to look a bit more like normal for a while there. Hope you are all safe and well.

Not too many blogs written lately, but we are just not going anywhere.

This is all a bit down beat but I’m not meaning to be. We are happy and healthy and ticking along nicely and we hope it is the same for you.

So what has happened. Well we have another beautiful Granddaughter, Maeve, born at the beginning of October, healthy and perfect.

We have bought a puppy, Monty, a fox red Labrador. He is great fun, if not a bit challenging at times🤣.  It is lovely to have a dog about the place again.

Michael has been working away in his workshop creating pieces for our online shop. We did see quite a few people towards the end of the summer in the gallery, but by no means the numbers we usually see. As well as our online shop we have been selling pieces on The Ness of Brodgar website. Some of the proceeds of these sales go to help support the dig. It has been very successful and we hope to continue it throughout 2022.

On a personal level, with no trips away and no events to attend we have been enjoying various projects at home. Some decorating, a refit of our Utility room, gardening, pottery and looking after our Granddaughter when her mum is at work. There isn’t any spare hours in a day and we are definitely not bored👍🥰🤣🤣.

We are now looking forward to 2022 and hopefully being able to welcome tourist back from all around the world, I am ever the optimist.

We would like to wish you all the very best of health and happiness for the coming year and look forward to seeing some of you at our workshop and gallery.

All the very best and a Happy New Year.
