Well that’s us approaching Easter weekend. Now here in beautiful Orkney there is a million and one things to do.
In the summer there is the big outdoors, festivals, lots of new people to meet from all corners of the world, the garden to enjoy along with hours of daylight.
In the winter there are many clubs and societies to join and take part in for every possible craft, music, games etc. you can think of, to fill many hours of darkness.
For me (MrsOrkwoodturner) I am a member of The Orkney Camera Club. We are a small but happy group. We share ideas, invite speakers along, try new projects, and hold a few competitions and exchanges amongst ourselves and between other clubs. As with most clubs here the season has come to an end (except for our social evening) so I thought I would share a few of my photos with you.
Most of my photography (enthusiastic amateur) is for the business, but I do love to experiment with different studio images and also get out and about with the camera.

Hope you enjoyed a glimpse of my photography. I am continuing to learn and always enjoy trying new things, so I am looking forward to getting out and about again this summer with some fresh ideas already in my mind.
