Weekend again. Where does the week go!!!!!!!!!
So that’s us just into August and it’s show season in Orkney. 🐄 🐑 🐎 🐩 🐓 🌺 🍰 🌽 🍺 🏆 🥇 🎪
Yesterday was Sanday show (really enjoyed judging there last year). Today is the East mainland show, then there is Hope show, Shapinsay, Dounby and to finish off next Saturday County show.
The weather – well – as always has turned a bit autumnal, but there is a fairly decent forecast. Lots of work goes into the shows, both as organizers and exhibitors and although folk here are made of good stuff and will not be easily put off by a bit of weather, it would be great if the sun shone. Although Michael has exhibited at the shows in the past it is not something we are doing just now and will be open here as normal. We have just had our busiest week to date and are enjoying meeting lots of people from around the world and close to home.
